Job Summary

A Kitchen Employee assists in the preparation, cooking, and handling of seafood and other menu items. This role ensures food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist cooks with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, workstations, and equipment
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Stock and organize ingredients and supplies
  • Properly store food items to prevent spoilage
  • Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries
  • Dispose of waste and maintain a clean work environment
  • Work as part of a team to ensure timely food preparation

Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen or food service experience (helpful but not required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical Requirements
