Kitchen Prep/Line Cook/Dishwasher

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.

As a Line/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in the meal preparation process, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for our culinary team to create exceptional dishes. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Perform meal preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all cooking tools and equipment are sanitized.
• Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure high-quality food standards.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals during service hours.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and mixers safely and effectively.
• Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
