Job Description
Kitchen Prep/Packing
This position will work primarily out of our commissary kitchen but will be on call from the kitchen.
Duties:
- Help with kitchen prep and production
- Packing truck with delivery items
- Checking and confirming delivery items
- Deliveries in and around Chicago
- Basic food prep
- Portioning a variety of food items
- Preparing meals for service at schools
Job Details
- Hours: 6am - 2pm (part-time to full-time)
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Location: Goose Island
- Start: Immediately
Requirements
- SafeServ certification is a bonus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Applicant must be reliable, punctual, presentable, as well as attention to detail and timeliness.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements preferable
- Fluent in English (bi-lingual in Spanish a plus)
- Strong communication skills
