As a Kitchen Sanitation Assistant, you will be responsible forthe operation of the dish room area and cleaning up the kitchen after events.
Typical duties may include, but not limited to:
- Operation of the dish machine and three compartment sink
- Check water temperature and soap concentrations, adjusting as necessary to maintain sanitation standards.
- Preform periodic cleaning of dish machine, walls, ceilings, doors, shelves and sinks
- Scraping, soaking, washing, drying and storing of dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, cooking sheets and other items.
- Sweep, mop and sanitize floors
- It is your job to make sure the guests of the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center receive the most outstanding customer service.
Required Qualifications- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Must be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one place.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.

- Be able to work evenings and weekends
