We're hiring a dependable, motivated Kitchen Shift Leader to take ownership of our evening kitchen operations and lead a team of 8–12 team members.

This isn't a sit-back-and-give-orders kind of job. You'll work alongside your team, keep the kitchen running smoothly, coach team members, and ensure every order meets Chick-fil-A's high standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate a team of 8–12 kitchen team members throughout your shift.
• Take ownership of kitchen execution, from preparation and setup through the evening rush and closing.
• Keep the team organized, focused, and moving efficiently during busy periods.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and order accuracy.
• Coach team members, provide direction, and help new employees learn and succeed.
• Monitor food preparation, product availability, and kitchen workflow to keep service running smoothly.
• Communicate with other shift leaders and management to address challenges and maintain a great guest experience.
• Ensure closing procedures and cleaning responsibilities are completed properly.
• Lead by example, jump in when needed, and hold yourself and your team accountable.

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

We're looking for someone who:

• Has restaurant or food-service experience; previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Can keep a cool head and make good decisions when things get busy.
• Communicates clearly and knows how to motivate others.
• Takes pride in cleanliness, food quality, and doing things the right way.
• Is dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Isn't afraid to give direction, coach a teammate, or roll up their sleeves.
• Can consistently work the 3:00–11:30 PM schedule and meet the position's availability requirements.
