Seeking a reliable Sous Chef with at least 4 years of restaurant or banquet experience to join a kitchen team in Hyannis, MA, for the 2026 season and beyond.
- Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, food prep, and kitchen management.
- Oversee daily operations in the absence of the Executive Chef and mentor kitchen staff.
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, supply orders, and ingredient quality.
- Collaborate with staff and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Requirements include culinary degree or equivalent, proficiency in cooking techniques, food safety knowledge, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and certifications preferred. This is a full-time and/or part-time non-exempt position. Compensation ranges from $25-$35 per hour based on experience.
