Description

Empro Staffing is a top-tier staffing solution dedicated to supplying healthcare facilities with exceptional personnel. We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing meal preparation, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and dietary aides, ensuring all food preparation and service meets quality and safety standards.
  • Plan and coordinate meal services, including menu development and food procurement.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure a seamless operation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to uphold hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety standards, and food handling procedures.
  • Address any dietary concerns or special requests from patients and staff in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of food service operations and any incidents that may arise in the kitchen.

Pay Rate: $26/hr.Employment Type: Full-time including every other weekendStart Date: As soon as possible

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a kitchen supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic proficiency in inventory management and food budgeting.
