Overview:

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing and supporting the back-of-house staff, ensuring smooth closing procedures, managing the prep list, and assisting with closing duties.

‎ :

Kitchen Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage expo operations to ensure efficient and timely food delivery

  • Execute closing duties, including cleaning and organizing the kitchen for the next shift

  • Supervise and support hourly staff members, providing guidance and assistance as needed

  • Maintain and update the prep list to ensure adequate inventory for upcoming shifts

  • Complete closing tasks and ensure kitchen readiness for the next day

  • Continuously check ingredient quality and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages

  • Monitor kitchen operations to uphold quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a cohesive work environment

  • Other duties as assigned

‎ :

What are we looking for?

  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong kitchen experience 
  • Kitchen team supervisory experience preferred
  • Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
