We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, has a strong work ethic, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves food preparation, assisting with cooking, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting daily kitchen operations.
Your Mission & Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Assist with cooking and assembling menu items under the direction of the chef or line cook
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Properly store, label, and rotate food items to maintain freshness and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, including prep areas, equipment, and utensils
- Monitor food inventory and report low stock, shortages, or expired items
- Receive, inspect, and store food deliveries following proper procedures
- Support dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen cleaning duties
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of all work areas
- Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned
What Sets You Apart:
- Previous experience in kitchen, food service, or restaurant prep preferred
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions with accuracy
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation required
