At Lawson's Finest, our Kitchen Team helps bring the vibe of our taproom and local ingredients to life. They have a love for food, locally sourced ingredients, and the magic of creating something delicious from scratch. From prep to plating to keeping the kitchen humming, this is a high-energy role for someone who values teamwork, takes pride in their craft, and wants to grow with a company built on quality, care, and community.

This position reports to our Kitchen Manager + Chef and plays a vital role in maintaining the heartbeat of our Taproom's beer, food and hospitality culture.

Your Role in the Guest Journey:

• Bring our food to life, preparing each dish with care, intention, and consistency to ensure guests experience our values through every bite
• Treat every task, from prep to plating to dishwashing, as essential to the guest's experience
• Work with precision and heart to uphold the quality and presentation that defines the Lawson's Finest food offering
• Support the culinary rhythm of the day by showing up ready, communicating clearly, and moving with purpose
• Collaborate with teammates to keep service flowing smoothly and efficiently during peak hours
• Willingness to jump in wherever needed and eager to cross-train and participate in food and beer sensory training to enhance product knowledge.
• Bring positive energy and a can-do attitude to each shift, knowing your effort directly contributes to guest satisfaction
• Embrace feedback and challenges as opportunities to grow and elevate both your craft and the team
• Treat ingredients with respect, while minimizing waste, following recipes, and honoring our commitment to quality
• Keeps the kitchen clean, safe, and efficient as a shared responsibility

What It Takes to Thrive in Our Kitchen:

• You're based near our Waitsfield, Vermont Taproom
• You're available on weekends and open to working holidays, and nights, as part of your regular schedule
• You can handle the physical demands: lifting 50+ pounds, working in a hot kitchen, and being on your feet for extended periods
• You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift and teamwork matters
• You're detail-oriented, organized, and committed to cleanliness and food safety
• You're a clear communicator and a supportive teammate
• Experience in a kitchen, prep station, or dish pit is a bonus - but we're also excited to train the right person
• Most importantly, you bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed

The Lawson's Package:

• We have part-time positions available.
• Starting rate: $24.00/hour
