Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Kitchen Utility-Porter to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Pay will be $12.00+ per hour DOE. You may work up to 12+ hours a day. You will work between the hours of 8am-8:30pm.
As our Kitchen Utility-Porter, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Maintain and clean all units and equipment according to local and hospital required food safety standards.
- Empty fryers of oil and clean.
- Put groceries up in the proper storage area.
- Clean pipes throughout the kitchen.
- Empty grease traps and dispose of oil.
- Clean the ovens and coolers.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness throughout the day.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following:
- Experience in cleaning kitchens in a restaurant.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 25 pounds.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
- Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.
