Assembler 1, General Compensation: pay $15.50/hr ; benefits after 90 days ; 401(k) match after 1 year (eligibility dates)

Assembler 1, General Highlights: contract w/ potential perm based on attendance/performance/business needs; required availability: Mon–Fri 6:00am–2:30pm (OT may be requested; must be able to work overtime)

Assembler 1, General Responsibilities

• Use a variety of equipment (inspection/light equipment, handcarts) to move materials, parts, assemblies, and scrap within the facility
• Sort and inspect materials to maintain quality standards
• Read rulers / complete basic measurements; maintain strong attention to detail/vision for inspection work
• Maintain quality records with good writing skills and documentation practices
• Work within defined SOPs and follow quality guidelines
• Perform basic math and work in a metrics-driven environment
• General computer usage as needed

Assembler 1, General Requirements: High School Diploma/GED; attendance mandatory first 90 days

• High school diploma/equivalent preferred (not required per job notes)
• At least 1 year experience in warehouse/manufacturing/quality (must be 1 continuous year at the same job minimum)
• Ability to read/write/understand English and communicate effectively with team leads/supervisors
• Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks (standing/walking/stooping/kneeling/reaching/pulling/pushing; repetitive hand/wrist motion)
• Comfortable working in conditions that can be hot in summer (no A/C) and cold in winter (limited heat) ; noise level moderate-to-loud
• Relatives are NOT permitted to work together in this department
• Do not apply/submit if you previously worked for BD/Bard

Assembler 1, General Preferred Qualifications

• Previous kitting/assembly experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Quality documentation/inspection experience
