Mechanical Engineer Intern

As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry experts, contributing to the design and development of advanced mechanical systems. Responsibilities: Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems for aerospace applications. Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and performance analyses to support design decisions. Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed models, schematics, and assembly instructions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to develop innovative solutions. Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering challenges to improve system reliability and efficiency. Research materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies to support engineering decisions. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Fundamental understanding of mechanical design, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Experience or coursework in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to interpret and create engineering schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation. Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a plus. Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
