Position Title Knight's Grill Worker (Closes by 2PM every day) (For Current SCC Students Only) FLSA Shift Day/Evening Supervisor Title Grill Manager Location Main Campus (Dobson) Job Description - Summary

Student employee needed to restock items, clean and provide support to the Knight's Grill on campus. Student must be willing to interact with customers to take orders and/or complete customer check out process on register. This is a customer service job.

• Students must be enrolled in AT LEAST 6 credit hours to qualify for FWS Program

This is a part-time opportunity. Students may work up to 15 hours per week, depending on their unmet need on their FASFA.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prep food orders for customers.

Help in the kitchen as needed.

• Re-Stocking as needed
• Follow food safety regulations
• Clean and Prep serving area regularly
• Cleaning of all aspects of the cooler, floor, machines, etc.
• Take Customer orders
• Run register to complete customer check out process
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

General Qualifications

• Dependable
• Good work ethic
• Pay attention to detail

Required Qualifications

• Ability to stand 4-6 hours at a time.
• Listen and follow directions

Preferred Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification (not required, but preferred)
• Previous Food service experience

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Sweep, Mop, and Clean as needed
• Long Periods of Standing

Work Environment

In the knights grill, located on the bottom floor of A Building, on campus, $16.00/hour

Weekly Hours:

Mon-Thurs: 7a-2p

Fri: 7a-1:30p
