Knowledge Management Coordinator Fort Lauderdale
We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Coordinator for our Downtown Fort Lauderdale office! The Knowledge Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization's knowledge management, legal research, and attorney support functions. This role assists attorneys and professional staff with research requests, maintains internal knowledge resources, and helps implement systems that improve access to information and work product across the firm or organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and comfortable working with legal research platforms, databases, and document management systems. Legal or library environment is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform litigation-related research through Westlaw, PACER and other federal and state court docket systems.
  • Retrieve pleadings, motions, orders, and other court documents for attorneys and litigation teams.
  • Conduct corporate, industry, and competitor research using legal and business intelligence databases.
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives through research and data collection.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the Knowledge Management department.
  • Handle monthly invoices accurately and in a timely manner, including Westlaw invoices, maintaining meticulous records of financial transactions.
  • Process Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requests, coordinating training sessions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage purchase requests for the legal department, ensuring timely procurement of necessary supplies and services.
  • Manage Bar Renewal requests, maintaining up-to-date records and facilitating timely renewals for attorneys.
  • Coordinate meetings and conferences, both internally and with external stakeholders, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.
  • Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
