LOCATION:  Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA

We are seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to design, maintain, and enhance information systems that enable efficient information sharing, retrieval, and integration across existing enterprise tools and platforms. In this role, you will develop and implement technical solutions that support structured taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and advanced search capabilities to ensure users can quickly access relevant, high‑value information.

Key Responsibilities


In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining information systems to optimize information sharing and retrieval with integration with existing systems and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience creating technical tools for taxonomies, metadata structures, and search to facilitate easy access to relevant information.

Highly Desired Qualifications


Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Working closely with data acquisition, data engineering, data management and data science teams, however, the Sponsor project manager will manage the priorities.
  • Providing technical expertise, integrating existing systems and tools with a focus on complex, multi-faceted data processing systems, and implementing data triage capabilities and tools.
  • Proficiency with data engineering to implement changes to existing Sponsor information systems to improve workflow through tool and system documentation
    Experience using experience with networking and research tools to document system, data and tool creation.
