    The Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a dynamic individual to respond to staff SharePoint challenges, standardizing processes, and enhancing tools and resources for SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive support, including the department-wide Intranet, called DPH InfoHub.

    This a contracted position and our selected candidate will support the DPH Technology Operations team. It requires attention to detail, SharePoint development experience, and a customer service focus. The position may include other Microsoft support responsibilities as needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):

    • Administer the DPH InfoHub and the SharePoint pages for the Technology Operations team.

    • Assist with creating and maintaining SharePoint sites, Teams workspaces, channels, and file libraries.

    • Create and curate learning resources for SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive document management strategy and organization, and accessibility planning and testing.

    • Assist in the DPH migration from server-based shared drives to a cloud-based SharePoint document management platform.

    • Develop user guides, quick reference materials, FAQs, checklists, and training content.

    • Assist with document conversion, migration, formatting, cleanup, and organization.

    • Support accessibility readiness through checklists, training materials, and basic review workflows.

    • Create and maintain project spaces, document libraries, templates, and resource repositories.

    • Support staff education on file organization, collaboration tools, and accessibility practices.

    • Help maintain consistent project documentation, naming conventions, and knowledge-sharing resources.

    • Publish and share project management resources through appropriate collaboration platforms.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to interpret and explain technical language to non-technical audiences.

    • Experience in the development of SharePoint pages, and SharePoint Intranet administration.

    • Ability to write concisely, to express thoughts clearly, and to develop ideas in logical sequence.

    • Skilled in following written and oral instructions in a precise understandable manner.

    • Ability to adjust to varying or changing situations to meet emergency or changing program requirements.

    • Established high standards for accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Experience in managing content migration from a server to the cloud.

    • Experience using MS Power Automate for workflow automation.

    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work under pressure and perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the aptitude to work independently and collaborate with multiple staff.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

    Contract Period of Service:

    Hire - 11-30-2027 - Contracts are renewable, subject to the Department approval, performance and allocation of funds.

    Additional Contract Information:

    • Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals.
    • Contracts are renewable, subject to the Department approval, performance, and allocation of funds.
    • All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit.
