    Korean Bilingual Import SpecialistLocation: Troy, MI (Onsite)Full time role with full benefitsSalary: 55K-65K as baseAbout Our ClientOne-Stop Purchasing Solution PartnerJob SummaryEnsure compliance with import regulations, provide trade compliance expertise and manage daily Customs OperationsJob DescriptionWorking with U.S. Customs to facilitate imports and exportsHandling import scheduling, import related documentation, and weekly import settlementsEnsuring proper regulatory compliance for all international transactionsReceiving POs and managing FOB costManaging shipping plans, HS-CODE and country of originFollowing up for quality claims and submitting the verified documentsCompleting various other tasks, as needed that might include free trade agreements, duty drawback Initiatives, internal audit functions and transaction reviewsCommunicating with various external parties such as forwarders, overseas vendors, customers, carriers, and shipping companies to prepare and coordinate logisticsQualifications1~3 years of experience in import, export, or logistics work experienceKnowledge of U.S. import regulations, including areas such as classification, valuation, free trade agreements, special import programs (anti-dumping and countervailing cases)Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing, complex environmentContinuous Improvement Focus; ability to articulate a problem and identify root cause.Strong attention to detail in order to compliance with company policies and US Import Regulations.Strong grasp of MS OfficeBachelor's degreeBilingual ( Korean and English)What's On OfferInsurance: Medical insurance/ dental/ vision/ life insurance/ disability insurance, etc.Health Insurance 100% covered, also with family membersPaid vacation daysVisa support (H1B and Green Card)401K (Up to 4% Match)Relocation support#J-18808-Ljbffr
