Thank you for your interest in MasterWord’s Remote Interpreting Services (RIS). As demand for language access continues to grow, we are excited to offer freelance opportunities to qualified interpreters across the U.S.

We are currently seeking fluent Korean-English Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our expanding network. This is a remote, freelance position available to U.S.-based professionals only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide accurate and professional interpretation services over the phone.
• Support clients across various industries, including healthcare, government, and social services.
• Log in via computer to handle both audio and video calls using a softphone platform (no mobile phones allowed).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional interpretation experience.
• Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and comprehension).
• Must reside in the United States.
• Completion of MasterWord’s onboarding and language assessment (if required).
• Access to a high-speed internet connection and a computer/laptop with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
• Availability to work weekdays and/or weekends (no standby pay; log in when available).
• Healthcare experience is a plus (e.g., pharmacy tech, CNA, RN, hospital volunteer, etc.), but not required.
