KPrep 3's and 4's Teacher Assistant

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing monthly lesson plans and classroom management
• Create a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom
• Facilitate activities that meet group and individual needs of students
• Promote educational progression of students to the next level
• Be an advocate for Cascade Christian Schools with families and the community
• Substitute for Lead Teacher when absent

REQUIREMENTS:

• Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools''Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to attend job-related activities during non-work hours (compensated)
• Prefer a minimum of one-year certification or two years of experience in Early Childhood Education
• Willingness to meet CPR/Current First Aid and other regulatory requirements
• Willingness to obtain CDA coursework

START DATE:

ASAP

WORK HOURS:

Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Salary Range:

$19.05-$22.30 per Hour
