We are seeking an experienced Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, automation, and container orchestration. This role involves designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing containerized applications for our client.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT with a focus on Kubernetes administration.
Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Strong skills in Docker containerization and Kubernetes networking.
Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for infrastructure provisioning.
Familiarity with Azure networking components such as VNets, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, NSGs, and Private Endpoints.
Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio preferred) and Helm Charts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
Monitor cluster performance, availability, and security.
Implement security best practices, RBAC, Azure AD integration, and policy enforcement.
