The Work Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Kubernetes Microservices Software Developer and Integrator. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience with Kubernetes, Bash and/or Python, and Linux.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related discipline and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent education/professional experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong background integrating containerized components within Kubernetes orchestration environments.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
  • Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Bash and/or Python

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with C++ and Java software development

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
