KW Quality Lab Systems Technician

TYPICAL DUTIES: Perform quality lab testing and inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished materials as required.Collect, label, and manage samples and retention samples according to procedures.Record and report test results accurately in logs, databases, or quality systems.Assist with Quality Systems documentation including: maintaining controlled forms and recordsorganizing test reports and certificationsupdating logs and trackers Support calibration and verification activities for lab/measurement equipment: maintain calibration schedules and recordsassist with internal checks and documentationcoordinate with vendors for calibration services as needed Assist with nonconforming material documentation including hold material, investigation support, and record filing.Support corrective and preventative action (CAPA) documentation by collecting information, organizing evidence, and maintaining files.Prepare quality documentation for customer requests and audits (COAs, test results, certifications, etc.).Maintain lab cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.Ensure lab equipment and tools are maintained; report issues or abnormal results to supervisor.Follow all KW Plastics safety policies and PPE requirements.Assist with internal audits and customer/third-party audit preparation.Support continuous improvement activities related to quality records, test methods, and reporting accuracy.Help train production/lab employees on sampling and documentation requirements as assigned.General housekeepingAdditional duties as assigned.
