Woodland Public Schools - Substitute Bus Driver/Bus Driver
Thank you for your interest in a possible career transporting students for the KWRL Transportation Cooperative. The KWRL Transportation Cooperative is a joint venture of Kalama, Woodland, Ridgefield, and La Center School Districts working together to transport students in as safe and efficient a manner as possible. As a substitute bus driver, you will have flexibility in what assignments you accept. All applications are considered and reviewed. The most qualified and competitive applicant(s) who possess directly related experience and expertise, training, and education may be invited to participate in the interview/selection process. As part of the selection process, the District conducts confidential reference checks to include former and present employers, and also requires a criminal background investigation. Unfortunately, due to the number of applications received, not all applicants will receive an interview.

Pay Schedule: $31.12 per hour for substitute, if hired into a route, pay schedule LINK
Benefits: If you are hired as a route driver (not a sub), the position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and LTD through the School Employee Benefits Board (SEBB) and retirement through the WA State Department of Retirement Systems (DRS). $1500 signing bonus for applicants without a CDL and $3000 for applicants with a CDL (paid after six months of duty)
Upon hire, applicants are given the option of taking a route if available or the option of working as a substitute driver. (Substitute drivers are not eligible for benefits)
