Job Title:- KYC/KYB Operations Lead (Hotels)

Duration:-6 months plus extensions

Location : Open For 100% Remote

W2 Only

Pay Rate Range :- $50-55 /hr on W2

Duties:

The KYC/KYB Operations Lead (Hotels) will collaborate with others on onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and remediation KYC/KYB efforts for Legal Entities, specifically focusing on hotel and hospitality-entity partners, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

The role requires deep knowledge of the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of legal entity Hosts operating in the hotel and hospitality space, including independent hotels, hotel groups, management companies, and franchise arrangements; legal entities that typically carry more complex organizational structures requiring layered identification and verification (e.g., beneficial ownership chains, management agreements, multi-property portfolios, and franchise/brand licensing structures).

This individual will work to ensure that periodic reviews of hotel partners are conducted in accordance with global regulatory requirements and internal policies.

The role involves working with various teams conducting KYC reviews specific to hotel entities, managing escalations tied to complex hotel ownership and operating structures, and liaising with stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance with KYC/KYB standards for the hotels vertical.

The KYC/KYB Operations Lead (Hotels) will also work to improve processes, manage KYC/KYB workflows tailored to hotel onboarding, and ensure the highest level of due diligence in verifying hotel partners.

Skills: Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team of global KYC/KYB analysts focused on hotel and hospitality partners, ensuring performance objectives are met.

Work with others to provide training, guidance, and support to ensure the team understands KYC/KYB policies and procedures specific to hotel ownership structures, management agreements, and franchise relationships.

Understand and monitor team KPIs to maintain high productivity and quality standards across the hotels portfolio.

Conduct periodic reviews for existing hotel partners to ensure compliance with AML, CTF, and KYC regulations, with particular attention to multi-entity and multi-property ownership structures.

Handle complex cases involving hotel groups, management companies, and franchise structures, providing escalation support as necessary.

Process Improvement:

Review and enhance existing KYC/KYB processes and procedures specific to hotel onboarding and monitoring to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Collaborate with technology teams to automate processes and implement new tools and systems tailored to the verification needs of hotel entities.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Work closely with the Compliance teams to ensure KYC operations for the hotels vertical adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Provide regular reports to management on KYC operations for hotel partners, highlighting key risks, trends, and areas for improvement specific to the hotels business.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Risk Management to ensure seamless onboarding and review of hotel partners.

Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including hotel groups, franchise brands, and sales as required.
