Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a L2 AV Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, Ohio (Remote). This role will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing AV systems while ensuring seamless deployment, performance, and end-user support.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

L2 AV Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and commission conference room AV solutions, including system layouts, BOM creation, and equipment integration.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment such as displays, projectors, DSPs, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.

• Review AV, architectural, and MEP drawings to identify design conflicts and provide technical recommendations for successful deployments.

• Integrate AV systems with IT network infrastructure, including AV-over-IP technologies such as Dante, NDI, and SDVoE.

• Perform system testing, calibration, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality audio, video, and user experience.

• Provide end-user training, technical support, and complete project documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related technical field. CTS/CTS-D certification preferred.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AV design, BOM creation, implementation, commissioning, and onsite installation of conference room AV solutions.

• Proven expertise with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC), AV-over-IP technologies, and integration of audio, video, and conferencing systems within enterprise environments.

• Strong practical experience troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting conference room AV systems, including cabling, DSP tuning, system calibration, and end-user training.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $50.00 per hour
