Title: L2 Plant Systems IT Technician

Core Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, plus at least 1 year of professional IT Technical support experience
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, will consider a 2-year degree and at least 2 years of experience OR 4 years of equivalent experience in combination of education and experience
  • Solid understanding of PCs including software installation, reimaging, Intune AD, Azure
  • Experience configuring / troubleshooting issues / and deploying IT hardware, such as printers, PCs, thin clients, scan guns, and/or radio frequency (RF) devices required
  • Understanding of networks and administration with knowledge of Access Points, Switches, VOIP, TCPIP, DHCP, DNS

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Triage IT hardware, software, and network issues in an office and on the manufacturing plant floor, with heightened focus on production critical systems.
  • Configure and deploy IT hardware equipment in an office environment, such as printers, conference phones, conferencing systems, while following hardware and software standards
  • Configure and deploy IT equipment on the plant floor, such as Zebras, Sato s, PCs, thin clients, scan guns, radio frequency (RF) devices, and payroll clocks, and specialized workstations supporting Supercapacitor pilot and production lines
  • Work alongside Architects and Engineers to get a basic understanding of applications, plant floor hardware layout, networking and software systems.
