The Level 3 Engineer is a highly skilled technical professional responsible for providing advanced support, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues within the organization's IT infrastructure. Working on regulatory messaging project within the bank.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve escalated technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Implement, maintain, and optimize systems, networks, and applications according to industry best practices. Lead root cause analysis for recurring incidents and develop solutions to prevent future issues. Provide guidance and support to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, assisting with technical development and knowledge sharing. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure upgrades and new deployments. Document solutions, procedures, and technical standards for internal use. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and security threats relevant to the organization.

- Database - SQL server - mirroring/listeners
- Python and shell scripting
- Know how microservices and APIs work
- Linux and windows server experience (Linux is priority)
- .NET and/or Java experience (they won't have to code but should know how to troubleshoot)
