Job Summary
Ther Sr Manager, Paid Media serves as the strategic leader for the organization''s paid media ecosystem, overseeing the development, direction, and performance of all paid media efforts across search, social, display, video, and emerging digital channels. This role is responsible for shaping the long term paid media roadmap, advancing in house capabilities, and driving enterprise level outcomes tied to ticket sales, fan acquisition, brand growth, and revenue performance. The Sr Manager also provides direct leadership and oversight to the Paid Campaigns Marketing Manager, ensuring alignment, support, and smooth execution across all paid campaigns.
This position leads the organization''s audience strategy, measurement frameworks, and optimization models to improve marketing efficiency and conversion outcomes at scale. The Senior Manager partners closely with product marketing, performance, analytics, creative, lifecycle marketing, and digital product teams to deliver integrated, data driven campaigns that support organizational priorities and elevate overall marketing impact.

BA/BS Degree (4-year): Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Paid Media or related marketing field
8-10 years
Related work experience
Proven experience creating, managing, and optimizing integrated paid media campaigns across search, social, display, video, and programmatic channels within an in-house marketing environment.
Strong experience translating brand, product, ticketing, and fan engagement objectives into performance-driven campaigns that drive acquisition, conversion, revenue, and audience growth outcomes.
Experience managing paid media budgets, pacing, forecasting, and performance optimization to maximize efficiency and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Experience identifying business opportunities, analyzing campaign and audience performance, structuring insights, and delivering data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Experience building and managing tracking, attribution, pixel implementation, and reporting frameworks across paid media, digital marketing, and ecommerce ecosystems.
Experience leveraging audience segmentation, retargeting, and lifecycle marketing strategies to improve campaign relevance, conversion, and fan engagement performance.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with creative, marketing, ticketing, analytics, partnerships, and operations teams to align paid media initiatives with commercial priorities and integrated campaign plans.
Familiarity with analytics and marketing technology platforms including GA4, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, CRM/CDP platforms, and dashboarding tools preferred.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing people.
Experience in sports, media, entertainment, or consumer-facing digital businesses preferred but not required.
Must be flexible to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks.
Strong attention to detail, effective follow-up and follow through required.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex data, technical concepts, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Strong understanding of paid media strategy, campaign optimization, audience targeting, and performance measurement across digital channels.
Hands-on experience with paid media platforms including Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and related advertising tools.
Experience with tracking, attribution, pixel implementation, and campaign reporting across digital marketing ecosystems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate campaign performance data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Familiarity with audience segmentation, retargeting, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimization strategies.
Ability to manage budgets, campaign pacing, forecasting, and media performance against revenue and engagement goals.
Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to communicate campaign performance, recommendations, and strategic insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, analytics, ticketing, partnerships, and operations teams.
Familiarity with analytics and marketing technology platforms including GA4, Google Tag Manager, CRM/CDP platforms, and dashboarding tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn required business systems.
Payscale: $106,382.00- $130,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
