Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Join a dynamic team of highly regarded labor and employment lawyers.
  • Take on significant levels of responsibility, client interaction, and leadership roles.
  • Work on litigation and non-litigation matters for a wide range of clients.
  • Be involved in all aspects of practice, including pre-complaint investigations, case analysis, strategy drafting, and responding to discovery.
  • Take and defend depositions, handle motions and other court appearances.
  • Manage administrative matters before various state and federal agencies.
  • Run day-to-day aspects of arbitration and trials, mediations, advise and counseling.
  • Conduct legal research and writing on a wide variety of areas.
  • Engage in single-plaintiff EEO, PAGA, and other class/collective action litigation.

Experience you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in employment law defense litigation in California.
  • Class/collective action experience is preferable.
  • Highly motivated and responsive with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Value a collaborative team environment and be prepared to work independently.
  • Assume significant responsibilities.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Juris Doctor degree.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California.
  • Must have a California bar license.
  • Meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice
