Job Summary
Provide instructional support to department faculty by maintaining lab and classroom facilities. Assist in maintaining and organizing equipment, materials and instructional supplies. Provide support for minor equipment repair, and lab experiments. Provide support to students with assignments and lab projects. Provide regular classroom coverage for faculty, as required. | Maintain classrooms on a regular basis, to include ensuring equipment and computers are operational. Utilize college resources for support. Ensure that all required software applications are up to date and available. Maintain a clean and safe learning environment for student learning. Assist students with all aspects of learning activities by providing materials, lab kits and equipment for labs. Provide support for several foundational courses, as needed and assigned. Complete all assignments given by the department coordinator and requests from other faculty in a timely manner. Assist in inventory and equipment requisitions, as assigned. May be required to work a split-shift, days being the primary shift.

Minimum qualifications
Salt Lake Technical College Certificate in Electronics Technology, Automation or
Robotics, or AAS/AS Degree in Electronics related field, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Salt Lake Technical College Certificate in Electronics Technology, Automation or Robotics, or AAS/AS Degree in Electronics related field, or equivalent.2 years of industry/educational work experience involved in Electronics Assembly, IPC, test and measurement, and troubleshooting.Certifications in the following areas: IPC 610, 620, J-STD and (ETA-I /CET/FCC/FOI are an asset).
