215.885.2360 Program of Veterinary Technology Manor College's Program of Veterinary Technology is a face -to-face program accredited by the CVTEA -AVMA. The program is seeking a Temporary Certified Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian to cover the latter part of the Fall 2026 Semester and the initial part of the Spring 2027 Semester - Effective November 2026 through 1st Quarter 2027. The position will instruct courses covered and administer examinations within those courses. The position includes both lecture and laboratory instruction. This position reports directly to the P rogram Director of Veterinary Technology . Specific Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Teach specific course lectures and laboratory classes working with models and live animals depending on the course requirements Possible courses for the Fall 2026 Semester includes: VT110 - Animal Anatomy and Physiology Lecture Tuesday/Thursday 2PM - 3:15PM Topics include basic anatomical terminology, cells, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and species comparisons. VT212 - Animal Radiology Lecture and Lab Lecture: Tuesday 9:30am -10:20am Labs: Wednesday 9AM - 10:50PM, Thursday, 10:30AM - 12:20PM, Friday, 8AM - 9:50AM & 10:30AM - 12:20PM Topics include radiographic safety, radiation physics, equipment use, exposure settings, patient positioning, image quality, radiographic anatomy, contrast studies, common imaging errors, and hands -on positi oning/lab skills. Course Offering s for the Spring 2027 Semester - To Be Determined . Actively engage s with other Vet Tech faculty and staff to assist in the smooth running of the VT coursework and program. Demonstrate s professionalism, expertise and a strong commitment to supporting student learning. Respond s to students' inquiries and provide academic support base on lectures and labs . Adhere s to all college policies and procedures. Maintain s professional communication with students, faculty and staff Promote s and uphold s Manor's Catholic Basilian Mission. Perform s other related duties as assigned by the Program Director of Veterinary Technology. Criteria & Qualifications: Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT or equivalent) . Bachelor's degree or higher . Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with students. Have the ability to work effectively with a diverse student and faculty population. Proficient in standard software applications, including Microsoft Office, Gmail, Navigate, Canvas, etc. Attention to detail and good organizational skills .
