Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Lab Assistant you will support scientific professionals by preparing samples, and maintaining specliaized equipment.
Every day you will perform, routine maintenance and repair on instruments utilized as directed.
To be successful in this role, you will perform rountine automated testing in multiple areas of the clinical laboratory in a timely manner under direct supervision of licensed personnel.
Job Requirements
Required
Six (6) months of experience as a laboratory assistant
Six (6) months of experience in phlebotomy working in an acute care facility
Current California Phlebotomy certification (CT PHLEBOT)
Medical Laboratory Technician certification can be accepted in lieu of
Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
