Pride Health is hiring a Lab Assistant for our client in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! 
 
Job Details: 
Schedule: 8.00am to 5pm
Location: Everett, WA
 Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range:  $18/hr- $21/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Description
  • Accession and verify laboratory orders and specimens, ensuring accurate patient information and specimen labeling.
  • Process, prepare, and route specimens to in-house and reference laboratories according to established procedures.
  • Distribute laboratory reports and ensure timely delivery of test results to providers and clinical staff.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for laboratory-related inquiries from physicians, nurses, phlebotomists, and clinic personnel.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide customer support regarding laboratory services, specimen status, test orders, and results.
  • Resolve laboratory billing questions and coordinate with appropriate departments to address account issues.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Previous laboratory or clinical laboratory experience.
  • Knowledge of laboratory specimen handling, accessioning, and processing
