Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks. \n \nQualifications:\n \nEducation\n\n H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required \n \nWork Experience\n\n No experience required Required \n 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred \n Experience in performing EKGs Preferred \n Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting Preferred \n \nLicenses and Certifications\n\n None Required \n* CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred \n \nBusiness Unit : Company Name:\n \nPiedmont Rockdale Hospital
