Lab Automation Lead/Senior Business Analyst:

General position overview:
The client is looking for an Senior Business Analyst, to support Lab automation initiatives with their new lab location in the Newton Square. The expectation is that the candidate works onsite 3 days a week. Life Sciences or Biopharma experience is required, with the ideal candidate having exposure to Robotic Lab Automation projects. If not, experience working on manufacturing or automation initiatives in later stages of Biopharma is an alternative. The role focuses on requirements gathering, process improvement, and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Candidate's responsibilities:

• Mapping and optimizing existing lab workflows and processes to support automation initiatives.
• Facilitating discussions and brainstorming sessions to identify and evaluate potential solutions.
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements, along with creating user stories, process flows, validation requirements, and technical specifications, to ensure alignment with stakeholders, including scientists and technical teams.
• Supporting the design and implementation of modular solutions for Lab automation.
• Ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between the client's business and technology teams.
• Providing knowledge transfer and assisting in onboarding additional team members when needed.

Requirements:

• Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in Life Sciences or Biopharma is required. Experience with Robotic Lab Automation or later-stage Biopharma manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with automation processes, process optimization, and requirements management tools.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive and capable of working independently.
