Lab Computing Analyst

The Science Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring a "Lab Computing Analyst" for a top pharmaceutical company.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows 11 (LTS, Pro, Enterprise).
• Perform manual Windows builds and replicate system configurations.
• Support laboratory instruments, software, and peripherals (printers, scanners, cameras, expansion cards).
• Troubleshoot hardware, drivers, and operating system issues.
• Use SCCM for package deployment and issue investigation.
• Manage and update tickets in ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Perform room-by-room IT asset inventories using scanning/RFID tools.
• Maintain accurate asset records and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Work independently with end users, researchers, and vendors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT support experience.
• Strong Windows 11 deployment and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on hardware installation and configuration.
• Experience with SCCM, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
• Familiarity with laboratory environments and IT asset management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Additional Information:

• Location: Albany, NY
• Duration: 6 months contract
• Pay: $30-$32/hour on W2(DOE)
