We need skilled CNC Programmers to help support the way we build and test our products and features in a start-up environment. You will work closely with research scientists, mechanical engineers, and hardware teams to machine precision components that bring next-generation robotic systems to life. If you are passionate about precision manufacturing, hands-on fabrication, and delivering high-quality parts for cutting-edge technology, we want to talk to you.

Key job responsibilities

  • Program, set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC mills and 5-axis mill-turn machining centers to produce precision components for prototyping and production

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software, ensuring efficient toolpaths, proper feeds and speeds, and high-quality surface finishes

  • Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC equipment

  • Design and fabricate custom fixtures, jigs, and workholding devices to support production and assembly processes

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to assess part designs for manufacturability and recommend design improvements

  • Support machining operations and prepare materials for prototyping and production runs

  • Source and procure cutting tools, raw metals, and consumables; manage tooling inventory and maintain stock levels of hardware and fabrication supplies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment in compliance with machining safety standards

  • Generate process documentation, work instructions, CNC programs, and equipment maintenance logs
