Lab/Engineering Technician

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab/Engineering Technician to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role requires hands-on experience with RF lab equipment and a strong ability to support various lab tasks including soldering and rack assembly. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with RF lab equipment and the ability to build test setups based on instructions
• Experience in rack assembly following provided instructions
• Proficiency in soldering rework of existing boards with 0201 components; RF experience is necessary
• Ability to handle and arrange lab inventory, including lifting heavy machines and setting up soldering stations
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced RF testing and measurement techniques
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain test setups for RF experiments and testing
• Support the assembly and maintenance of equipment racks
• Conduct soldering rework and repairs on existing boards
• Manage lab inventory and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained
• Provide general lab support and troubleshooting as needed
