About the Role: Mid Star Lab Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Lab Manager to lead our orthotic manufacturing operations in Tonganoxie, KS. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily orthotic lab operations, ensuring efficient workflow and production timelines
Manage and mentor lab technicians and manufacturing staff to maintain high-quality standards
Supervise the fabrication, modification, and finishing of custom orthotic devices
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality control standards
Manage inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment used in orthotic manufacturing
Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to meet patient and client specifications
Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements to optimize lab performance
Requirements:
Experience in orthotic manufacturing, prosthetics & orthotics (O&P), or a related lab environment
Prior supervisory or lab management experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in orthotic fabrication techniques, materials, and equipment
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance standards
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective communication and team leadership abilities
ABC or BOC certification or relevant technical credentials a plus
