    Facility St. Anthonys Hospital Location: St. Petersburg, FL Status: Full-time, Part-time & PRN Shift Hours: Varies Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No

    Responsibilities The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for: • Collecting, receiving, and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing • Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens • Referring specimens to outside laboratories • Interaction with physicians, clients, and staff regarding referral lab tests • Performance of phlebotomy procedures • Performs other duties as assigned

    Experience Required

    • 6 months
    • Phlebotomy Laboratory related or related field

    Education Required

    • High School or equivalent
    • Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience

    Credentials

    • Drivers License
    • Credential equivalent experience
