Facility ----------

St. Josephs Main Hospital Location: Tampa, FL Status: Full-time, Part-time & PRN positions available Shift Hours: Varies Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No

Responsibilities ----------------

• Collecting, receiving, and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
• Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
• Referring specimens to outside laboratories
• Interaction with physicians, clients, and staff regarding referral lab tests
• Performance of phlebotomy procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Experience Required -----------------

• 6 months of Phlebotomy Laboratory experience or related field

Education Required -----------------

• High School or equivalent
• Bachelors degree in a related field in lieu of experience

Credentials ------------

• Drivers License
• Credential equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications ----------------------

• Phlebotomy experience with BayCare
