Pay Range: $44/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational leadership and issue resolution support in laboratory settings.
- Lead cross-functional projects such as laboratory moves, infrastructure improvements, and equipment relocations.
- Manage laboratory assets through planning, procurement, installation, maintenance, and decommissioning activities.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Procurement, IT, Environmental Health and Safety, Finance, scientists, and external vendors.
- Support operational budgets, purchase orders, invoice management, and project financial tracking.
- Monitor operational performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and project plans to improve visibility and execution.
- Drive initiatives to reduce non-scientific work and improve service delivery.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting laboratory operations, technical operations, project management, or research environments.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex initiatives and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with laboratory infrastructure projects, equipment lifecycle management, and vendor management is preferred.
- Familiarity with biotechnology or pharmaceutical laboratory environments is a plus.
