Lab Processing Clerk, Full Time, Night Shift

The Lab Processing Clerk performs specimen received in computer system, centrifuging specimens, laboratory test ordering, printing lab reports, calling and documenting critical result reporting, faxing patient results, answering telephone calls, patient registration, and other clerical duties as needed.

Required Experience

Required:

• Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. 

Preferred:

• Knowledge of general lab test names
• Previous blood specimen processing experience
• Six (6) months of computer data processing and/or clerical experience
• Previous customer service experience
