Responsibilities:

• Assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Provides education and competency documentation
• Implements and maintains the laboratory Quality Improvement Program
• Investigates, collects and analyzes data and communicates outcomes to improve patient care
• Obtains accurate and timely compilation of laboratory data
• Formats Quality Assurance (QA) Quality Improvement (QI) spreadsheets and maintains files and reports for laboratory administration.
• Develops education offerings, coordinates education activities, monitors team member and compliance to mandatory training

Experience

• Required - 4 years of Laboratory experience

Education

• Required - Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science or Related Field

Certification

• Required - State of Florida License for Clinical Laboratory Personnel in Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, Serology, Microbiology and Hematology) or Cytogenetics.
