Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Lab Services & Administrative Support professional. This critical role combines laboratory support with administrative functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within our busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing in-office urine drug screen (UDS) collections
  • Operating in-office laboratory equipment for initial testing
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for external lab confirmation
  • Maintaining chain-of-custody documentation
  • Ensuring proper labeling and accurate specimen handling
  • Monitoring supply inventory and restocking needs
  • Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment
  • Complying with CLIA, OSHA, and CPSS policies
  • Maintaining HIPAA confidentiality at all times
  • Assisting with check-in and registration when needed
  • Helping route calls or patient messages during high-volume periods
  • Supporting prior authorization or referral workflows
  • Preparing, scanning, and uploading documents to the EHR
  • Assisting leadership with operational projects or logs
  • Maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in laboratory science or administration is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting or administrative role is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
