Title or Role: Lab Support Technician – Quality Control
Compensation: Up to $30/hr. commensurate with experience
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Length of Contract: 6 months +

Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Support Technician to join the Quality Control team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. No prior laboratory experience or college degree is required training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

In this role, you will support daily Quality Control laboratory operations by assisting with sample management, inventory control, laboratory organization, and documentation while working in a regulated cGMP environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, label, organize, and distribute laboratory samples for Quality Control testing.
  • Track samples and maintain accurate documentation using laboratory systems.
  • Assist with the storage, shipping, and disposal of laboratory samples and materials.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, and reference standards.
  • Perform routine laboratory support activities, including organizing work areas and maintaining equipment.
  • Assist with sample reconciliation and inventory tracking.
  • Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and cGMP requirements.
  • Be available to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts as business needs required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior laboratory experience required training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and work accurately.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn laboratory systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team.
  • Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Certifications:
  • High School or College degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Life Sciences) preferred.
