Lab Tech

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a detailed-oriented Quality Lab Technician for our client in Camp Creek, GA!

This role is responsible for inspecting materials and manufactured parts, maintaining quality records, performing testing activities, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and industry quality standards.

Job Details

• Camp Creek, GA

• $20.00 per hour

• Monday through Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am

• Weekend Rotation every third weekend (approximately once per month), 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM with Friday and Monday off.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and parts to verify compliance using various measuring and inspection instruments.

• Maintain accurate records of inspected, accepted, and rejected materials and parts.

• Review inspection and test records to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Perform visual and functional inspections in accordance with GLP, GDP, and GMP requirements.

• Prepare and document non-conformance reports for materials or products that do not meet specifications.

• Perform material transactions within the computerized inventory management system.

• Maintain calibrated inspection equipment and associated records.

• Ensure accurate documentation of materials, inspections, and quality activities.

• Evaluate returned materials and products through the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process.

• Coordinate inspection activities with outsourced inspectors and manufacturing personnel.

• Conduct inspections at supplier locations as needed to verify adherence to specifications.

• Prepare detailed reports, investigations, and conclusions regarding quality findings.

• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with company safety standards.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise levels.

• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection and safety glasses.
