Lab Tech

Lab Tech needs 5+ years experience

Lab Tech requires:

Associate's Degree Required

Experience shipping and receiving lab samples and consumables

DOT, RCRA, IATA certifications preferred

Experience aliquoting preferred

Understanding of laboratory safety protocols and requirements

Data entry and computer skills

Must be detail oriented and have organizational skills

FDNY C-14 Certificate of Fitness preferred.

Lift at least 50 pounds and will also require PPE

Hep B vaccine or tither is required.

Lab Tech duties;

Receive, unload, unpack, and inspect all laboratory deliveries.

Manage lab inventory logistics in the laboratory/stockrooms as they arrive according to departments.

Report damages or shortages to supervisors.

Match shipments to their associated requestor and enter receiving data in purchase request database.

Monitor laboratory inventory levels daily.

Maintain HSE compliance of all receiving areas.

Assist with outgoing lab shipments

Aliquoting, glass washing, and autoclaving
