What You'll Do
As an Entry-Level Lab Technician, you'll work under the guidance of experienced laboratory professionals to support quality assurance and research operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine laboratory testing using established procedures
- Conduct basic chemical and biological analytical testing
- Measure and record laboratory data accurately
- Assist with setting up laboratory equipment for testing and experiments
- Prepare samples and materials for analysis
- Operate a variety of laboratory instruments and testing equipment
- Perform routine instrument safety checks and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
- Follow all laboratory safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- No laboratory experience necessary
- 0-3 years of related experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions
- Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a laboratory environment
